The fenders and gas tank removal was quite a chore; the Springer front-end makes it much more difficult and tedious than motorcycles with ordinary tubular forks and shorter, smaller fenders, but "Hey, I'm not just an ordinary guy"!

Well, there is no turning back now; the candy red metallic pearl paint will be a welcome sight.

That stainless steel oil tank was not cheap, but it won't ever rust or peel. Those Vance & Hines pipes will be replaced with some low slung shotguns; I'll use these bad boys on a future project.
